Writing a wedding wish for a newly wed can be…. tiring to the brain.
You would like to left a heartfelt and yet, cheeky messages which may last through the years.
A standard line would go something like;
“Heartiest congratulations to you two. May you carry the joy of this very day close to your heart as you set upon this journey together.”
“My biggest wish is for the two of you is that through the years your love will deepen and grow, that years from now, you will, one day, look back to this day as the day you loved each other the least.”
“Now that you’re married, it’s time to get down to business. Always take the trash out in time, put the toothpaste cap on.. and remember, there’s no such thing as a “floordrobe”!“
“A happy man marries the girl he loves. A happier man loves the girl he marries.“
On a cheekier note:
For the groom: The most effective way to remember your wedding anniversary is to forget it… once! Always answer the question for “Do I look fat/big in this…” with “you look great/lovely/charming“. And in any other situation, the answer will always be “Yes, my love.”
For the bride: If in any doubt, just say “Yes“. Always tell him how much you’ve saved up shopping during sales before telling him how much you’ve spent. Although you think you know your man well, always give him room to grow. Who he is today is just the beginning of who he can be in the future, if you believe and have faith in him.
