We Are Married Contest 2016 is a campaign organized by China Press and Nanyang Siang Pau, partnered with Feminine Magazine, My Wedding Magazine & Wedding.com.my. The prizes for the whole year are sponsored by Lady Americana, Genting Rewards, Redbliss Bridal and Total Image.
There are RM334,000 worth of prizes to be won for the 3 rounds of the We Are Married Contest 2016. Lady Americana is sponsoring RM71,000 worth of Individual Pocketed Spring Queen Size Mattresses and INTELLI Luxury & Superior Standard Sleep Pillows. Genting Reward is sponsoring RM159,000 worth of Complimentary Stay while Redbliss is sponsoring Family Portrait Packages worth RM53,900. Total Image on the other hand, is sponsoring Beauty & Slimming Hampers worth RM44,000.
Participants are required to submit their pre-wedding photo to stand a chance to win these great prizes!
This contest is open to all newly-wed couples in the year 2016. Participants are required to submit their pre-wedding photo for contest participation with a registration fee of RM188, which includes a 100 copies of newspapers for distribution to their guests at their wedding and a 1 year subscription of E-paper. The submission of wedding photo and wedding message will be published in both China Press and Nanyang Siang Pau on their wedding.
There are 3 rounds of this contest:
- First round: January to April 2016
- Second Round: May to August 2016
- Third round: September to December 2016
The selection of winner will be done after each round of the We Are Married Contest 2016.
Judging Criteria as below:
- Judgement Team – 70% (Posture 20%; Apparel 20%; Conception 20%; Symmetry 10%)
- Website Voting – 30%
30% of voting will be done by China Press and Nanyang Siang Pau Readers and contestant’s followers via We Are Married official website: www.chinapress.com.my/wearemarried/
Participants are required to log in to WAM official website to submit their pre-wedding photo and details.
There is a total of 13 sets of prizes for each round. 3 sets of Special Prize includes cash and products from sponsors worth RM888 while another 10 sets of Consolation Prize includes cash and products from sponsors worth RM288.
